Privacy Policy

This policy is written in English with a Chinese reference translation; in case of conflict, the English version prevails.

本政策以英文撰写，中文仅为参考译文，如有冲突以英文版为准。

1. What We Collect 我们收集什么

• Name inputs — the English name, optional gender, style preference and birth year you type into the generator.起名输入——你在生成器中输入的英文名、选填的性别、风格偏好与出生年份。
• Email — only if you join our waitlist, ask us to email your name cards, or place an order.邮箱——仅当你加入等候名单、索取名片卡邮件或下单时收集。
• Payment data — processed entirely by our payment provider (Gumroad); we never see or store your card number.支付信息——由支付服务商（Gumroad）全程处理，我们从不接触或存储你的卡号。

2. How We Use It 我们如何使用

• Generating and refining your Chinese names.生成并优化你的中文名。
• Sending the name cards and pronunciation guide you requested, plus related NameCarver product information (unsubscribe anytime by replying "unsubscribe").发送你索取的名片卡与发音指南，以及相关产品信息（随时回复"退订"停止）。
• Delivering digital products.交付数字产品。
• Sending launch notifications and order updates (you can unsubscribe anytime).发送上线通知与订单进度（可随时退订）。

3. What We Never Do 我们绝不做的事

• We never sell your personal data to third parties.绝不出售你的个人数据给第三方。
• We never use your name or story in marketing without your written consent.未经你书面同意，绝不在营销中使用你的名字或故事。

4. Third-Party Processors 第三方处理方

We use: Gumroad (payments), a cloud database provider (waitlist & name registry), and AI model providers (name generation). Each receives only the data needed for its function. We do not collect shipping addresses — all products are digital.

我们使用：Gumroad（支付）、云数据库服务商（等候名单与名字登记册）、AI 模型服务商（起名）。各方仅获得履行其职能所必需的数据。我们不收集收货地址——所有产品均为数字产品。

5. Retention & Your Rights 数据保留与你的权利

Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as required by tax law. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data anytime at hello@namecarver.com.

等候名单邮箱保留至你退订为止；订单记录按税法要求保留。你可随时通过 hello@namecarver.com 要求查阅、更正或删除你的数据。

6. Cookies 与匿名统计

We use no advertising trackers. Only essential technical storage (e.g., rate limiting) is used. We also record anonymous usage statistics on our own servers — page views, button events, browser language, screen size and referring page, tied to a random per-tab session ID. This data contains no name, email or IP-based identity, is never shared with third parties, and is used only to understand traffic and improve the service.

我们不使用广告追踪器，仅使用必要的技术性存储（如访问频率限制）。此外，我们在自己的服务器上记录匿名使用统计——页面浏览、按钮事件、浏览器语言、屏幕尺寸与来源页面，仅关联一个随机的标签页级会话 ID。该数据不含姓名、邮箱或基于 IP 的身份信息，绝不与第三方共享，仅用于了解流量与改进服务。
